All VDVR trainings are open to the public and will be posted on our website.
Training facilities are subject to review and approval by our office. The following are examples of some facilities not suitable for training: restaurants, bars, private residences, beauty salons, barber shops and outdoor venues.
We will need access to the facility one hour before the training to set-up equipment and one hour after training is completed to answer any follow-up questions, for a total of 3 hours.
6 ft. table for sign-in/registration & 2 chairs.
4-6 ft. table for laptop and projector.
3 prong outlet for equipment.
podium for trainer (if available).
screen or blank wall to project PowerPoint presentation.
Chairs (and tables, if available) for participants **Must be set up in advance of the training by your organization or the facility.

Parking Permit (if required) ** Parking Permit must be received by our office at least 2 days prior to the training date.
Any advertising or promotion of the VDVR training must contain our office logo and the following language: Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar Training conducted by the Harris County Elections Administrator's Office. **Participants must arrive on time and attend the training in its entirety.
VDVR trainings are subject to cancellation or reschedule to the next available date due to severe weather.
